General Washington was a good leader because while he was a commanding chief of the Continental Army he would push his Army forward. If he hadn't been there then the army would have left and gone back home after The Battle of Trenton . He was a good leader of the United States. All of his ideas were put into his presidency. He showed the same good qualities as President as he had shown on the battle field. He had created a group of volunteer ragtag soldiers. The army had gone against what was the most powerful army in the world. After that he was of course reelected. Washington was a very vibrant leader. He had a way of making people love him and want to agree with him. He was an effective leader and he had a way of getting things done fast. He could see or vision what he chose to see in the future. He also had earlier war experiences such as in the Indian and French war. He had learned about strategies and how you have to go into to battle to be successful. So over all General George Washington had a very big impact on our history and without him we might not be where we are today.
